About Markus Noisternig
Markus Noisternig is Deputy Director of the STMS-Lab in Paris – a joint research unit of IRCAM, the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), Sorbonne Université, and the French Ministry of Culture – where he is also a researcher in acoustics and audio signal processing within the Acoustics and Cognitive Spaces Research Group.
He is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Austria, and teaches at Sorbonne Université, the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière (Paris), and the École supérieure d’art et de design TALM-Le Man.
Markus Noisternig’s work bridges the fields of experimental music and scientific research in immersive audio and widely recognized for his works at the intersection of artistic creation and technological innovation.
